Alvan Blanch belt drier set up to dry woodchip for sale.

Bought as a spare unit so has seen low operating hours, a good investment for woodchip or other drying applications.

Technical overview:

Drying capacity: Appx 1900kg/hr (wet imput) @ 55% moisture content when drying at 90degC.

Heat source: Hot water at appx 95degC utilising 999kW heat. A diesel burner can be used to boost the drier temperatuure over 90 degC up to 120degC.

Installed electrical load: 43kW (415V, 3ph, 50Hz)

Scope:

Continuous flow conveyor drier PCD13300

Drying bed: Overlapping steel louvers assembled on steel framework 2.4m sections. Twin roller trace chains with steel slats to convey material over drying bed.

Superstructure: Roof sheets and galvanised steel side panels fully enclose the drying bes.

Agitators: 2 mid-bed agitators

Temp controls: Standard including temperature-controlling thermostat, hot air/product temperature gauge.

Feed: Full width feed ramp with large diameter rotary levelling device and level sensors

Discharge: Full width discharge

Fans: Centrifugal backward curved hot fan, aaxial cold fan.

Heat Exchanger: Aluminium finned, steel tubes conforming to ASTMA214

Control panel: Fully enclosed with touch screen.
