Technical Specifications

1500 Nm³/hr Controlled combustion ground flare with cyclonic action burners. At full load, of 60% CH4 at 1,000°C the retention time is greater than 0.3 seconds.

The combustion shroud is 6 mm galvanised carbon steel for maximum longevity with 125mm thick 1265°c 128kg m-3 ceramic fibre insulation fixed on edge.

The plenum chamber walls and floor are lined with ceramic blanket to reduce heat loss, provide combustion silencing and protect the concrete slab base from heat damage.

4 off DN125 emission monitoring ports 1 metre down from the top of the stack to UK Environmental Agency’s “Guidance for Monitoring Enclosed Landfill Gas Flares” requirements.

The shroud base is galvanised carbon steel.
