Biogas Marketplace is delighted to offer for sale on behalf of close owners a complete Puregas 1800S Biogas Upgrading system for sale. The sale includes all of the core upgrading equipment and a comprehensive stock of spare parts. This upgrader is currently operational and is working at its design throughput where it can be visited by interested buyers.
This upgrading system is in immaculate condition and has been maintained to an extremely high standard by its current owner.
Genuine reason for sale so please get in touch for more information. This equipment represents an excellent opportunity for biomethane production to be added to an existing AD plant or to be used on a new project.
The upgrader is offered on an as-is basis, and the buyer will need to dismantle and remove from site.

The upgrader comprises the following:
- Control room,
- Amine room inclusive of heat exchangers and pumps etc,
- RO unit and instrument air dryer/conditioning equipment.
- Compressor room comprising of 2x Gardner Denver 10barg gas compressors, heat exchangers and methane drying equipment, gas analysers (CH4, O2, CO2 and H2S), recirculation valving and controls
- Carbon stack (3t activated carbon for biogas)
- Absorber column and stripper column
- Dump radiators.
- Two chillers for cooling heat exchangers (Parker and Daikin) included.
- The upgrader has had the original in line gas boosters removed from the inlet side due to issues experienced in the early days of operation. These boosters can be refitted as the VFDs still exist in the control room.
